2 ponds in one day, you gotta be kidding

It's finally over. I purchased (in a sense) a new cell phone today. After missing a call from London on my stupid no vibratey and ring-when-I-feel-like-it phone I decided to get myself over the store to ensure that won't happen. I decided to not get the blackberry and not even consider it. I'm so proud of myself for that. It's tough for me not to get the most high tech gadget but I wasn't going to utlize the features and I didn't want to spend the money. So it was between two motorola phones and the nokia candy bar. Because I know so few people read this, if you want to see the winner you have to click on the link <-. Also, if you refer to the previous post I called cell phone salesmen scum. They still mostly are but the guy I talked to today actually told me it would take over an hour to process my upgrade since I am out of market, when I mentioned I should do it online he basically said yes. I have to wonder if he just gave up his commisission to save a few minutes. Anyway, worked out well for me because I got the phone even cheaper online since I have a Colorado number. For that long long list of reasons why Colorado is better than Massachusettes add that to the list as well. Anyway, it's time to sit back in the lay-z-boy and gather strength to tackle what lurkes in the kitchen and fridge. Ugh.

Scum phone

So I went to the Verizon store with the intention of buying a new cell phone. My plan is almost up (next month) and my phone is pretty much beat to hell. I can't decide. I don't need any of this fancy V-cast or stuff but I don't want some cheap feeling phone. That's the thing they make the more sturdy feeling phones all fancy and the no at fancy phones feel like cheap plastic. I mentioned early it was between a nokia candy bar and a blackberry but there is a motorola that isn't bad. It kinda comes down to free vs. paying (phones vs. blackberry). The blackberry is by far way cooler and had great features minus a phone which for me is a big plus. The other phones have cameras and some bells and whistles I don't need. Anyway, still no decisions but cell phone salesmen are scum we all know it. I feel so dirty when I'm in that store.

I'm a lay z boy

I am the proud owner of a brand new recliner and I'm typing this while totally reclined. I kinda thought I needed a recliner but I figured I was just trying to convince myself of something I didn't need. I was wrong, this is good and was on sale. But it's kinda sad, the recliner is pretty much the newest thing going on. It rained and rained for like 2 weeks and Xanja and I treked to the park pretty much every day. It's kinda nice there in the rain, it's quiet and lots of sticks to be thrown. Boy this sure is a boring post but what do you expect my brain is still drying out and I'm completely relaxed. That could only mean one thing, time to stop.

Be careful BKLYN you don't know what's in store for you

But I do. I can't really divluge what is going to happen but I know that it will benefit me and I will say I told you so to the non believers. Me and the teapot had a good weekend in Brooklyn. Mark and Randall showed up again at the dog park, I'll let you figure out which one is the human. He is probably one of the most interesting people I've met in a long time. I also found out that apparently everyone I know from the dog park is an artist and I can barely draw. We scrubbed the teapot clean but she wasn't too happy about it. I'd glad trade places with her. I mean come on, one bath a year, that would rule. If my hair didn't get greasy I could pull it off. I guess that is one reason to shave my head. Hmm. maybe. Ok time to stop this because I'm out of gas.

Spanish spoken here

I heard two people at work talking this morning in a different language, one I assumed to be Spanish. It was great. The first person said, "hola". Then the other person said "hola, como esta?". It was like two high school students practicing spanish in class, except after that they held a conversation in that other language. I forgot to mention earlier that last week our building had it's windows cleaned. No big deal. But it was great to go into work in the morning and see these guides in all black on the roof. I immediately thought we had been taken over by ninjas. Unfortunately I was wrong, but we have really clean windows now.
