26.2 Miles down, none to go, ever again

So a lot has gone on since the last post. I can't really remember everything about it but I'll try. I traveled to Winchester, VA for a wedding, which was a lot of fun. I'd never been to Winchester before and I found it was a pretty cool place. It is a lot bigger than I expected but it still has that small town feel. Gotta admit even though I've heard lots of things about it I liked Winchester. It was a long weekend with not a lot of sleep but a lot of fun. I guess the only only other real big news happened yesterday. I finished the Marine Corps Marathon in 5 hours 16 minutes. Not a great finish but not too bad for doing very little training. I didn't get to train as much as I wanted because I hurt my foot in the spring but it went pretty well. It wasn't very difficult in the sense that I was never out of breath or even breathing hard but when your legs turn to cement there isn't much you can do. Also, I got some hot spots about mile 10 and came to find a huge blister at the end, that wasn't helping anything. Anyway, I think that is all the fun new news and Xanja's stomach seems to be back to normal in case you were wondering, gonna have to buy a steamcleaner of some sort.
