They did it. Even with jackass Zidane throwing his head around, they did it. Any surprisingly, so did I. The Italians winning the World Cup not only made me happy for that reason but they also helped me win my pick'em group. How that happened I'm not sure but I'll take it. I was glad to see Zidane leave the game. All the commentators could talk about was how great he was this and how great he was that. Not so great when you headbutt someone like that. I'm glad Italy won for many reasons, not just because it is a shame to lose to the French in anything. This is the perfect seque into my learning to speak Italian.
